Our
primary goal for 2008 - 2010 is to build new
relationships by connecting members, alums, and business
professionals to our mission. New programs are being
developed to:
• Provide greater opportunities to support the
Foundation through community based programs
• Leverage multi-media and professional networking sites
to broaden our outreach and visibility
• Promote “Green” initiatives that reduces our impact on
the global environment
• Actively recruit the next generation of Board members,
volunteers, and leaders
COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS
There are many ways that you can support the Foundation by participating in events in your local community, visiting our small business partners, and online community partners. This includes:$85 for 85 Years – in celebration of Phi Chi Theta’s 85th anniversary, show off your PCT pride by raising and donating $85 to the Foundation by July 31, 2009
Macy’s Shop for Cause - A one-day shopping event, at every Macy’s store nationwide, as a way to give back to the local community. Buy a $5 pass from the Foundation, redeemable at any Macy’s store, for extraordinary discounts on select merchandise throughout the store on September 20
eBay – Are you an eBay seller? The eBay Giving Works program allows you to donate a portion of the proceeds (10-100%) of your sale to the Foundation, and receive a tax receipt for the gift
Goodsearch – You can find it all on the Internet. Use Goodsearch to find web sites, images, video, shopping, and more on the Internet. Each search earns the Foundation a penny.
The Queen Beader – your place for chic and sassy Jewelry, Beads and Accessories! Phi Chi Theta alum, Shannon Rutt (Gamma Iota – University of Colorado at Denver) makes and sells custom jewelry; including beautiful custom designed Phi Chi Theta bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Visit her web site and support a fellow Phi Chi Theta alum by placing your order online. A portion of each sale goes back to the Foundation to support its educational and scholarship programs.

We are looking to recruit a few good Trustees and individuals that want to support the planning and execution of our “Build Your Future” programs. Individuals that represent a broad and diverse spectrum of the Fraternity base. We have specialized skills and projects that we are trying to staff with enthusiastic and hard working individuals. We need skills and expertise in one or more areas; including:| • Good writing and oral communication • Technology skills • Marketing and Branding • Innovative ideas and recommendations • Ability to leverage your professional contacts and affiliations |
