Text Box: Next summer (August 2008), the Phi Chi Theta Scholarship Program is awarding $4,500 worth of scholarships:

Naomi L. Satterfield Memorial Scholarship—$1,000
Irene M. Meyer Memorial Scholarship—$1,000
Trustees’ Scholarship—$1,000
Anna E. Hall Memorial Scholarship—$500
Helen D. Snow Memorial Scholarship—$500
Lester F. Richardson Memorial Scholarship—$500

These scholarships will be awarded at the 2008 National Chapter Meeting in Memphis, TN (August 7-10, 2008).  

Eligibility
All members of Phi Chi Theta in good standing are eligible to apply for the scholarships. All applications submitted will be reviewed by the Phi Chi Theta Scholarship Committee and considered for each scholarship. To qualify for consideration, applicant must be: 

A national member of Phi Chi Theta in good standing (i.e., dues paid).
A student who has completed at least one semester or two quarters of college in the United States.
A student who will be enrolled in and attending classes during the forthcoming academic year at an approved college or university in the United States, in pursuit of a degree (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral) in the fields of Business and/or Economics. 

If you meet our eligibility requirements, the next step is to complete and submit to the Phi Chi Theta Scholarship Committee the following items: 

Completed (typed) and signed application (Download Now—MS Word, PDF)
Phi Chi Theta achievements and contributions
Scholastic achievement as demonstrated in transcript
One copy of an official transcript; mailed from the Registrar's Office directly to the Chair of the Scholarship Committee.  
One copy of Spring Semester 2008 course schedule.  (Check to see if on transcript; if not, applicant sends the schedule with application.) 
School and community achievement and activities
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation mailed directly to the Chair of the Scholarship Committee.  Faculty member (required) and either a Phi Chi Theta Fraternity officer, or an employer’s letters of recommendation
Essay – “How do you see yourself, using your Phi Chi Theta experience and scholastic achievement, realizing your career goals in the next 3 – 5 years?”
Your résumé 
Professional/business photo attached to application
