ABOUT BETSY BRASHER

Betsy Brasher is our current Policy Board Chair
after recently retiring after four years as
National President (2004-2008). She was a member
of the Beta Chi chapter at the University of
Tennessee at Martin from 1995 to 1998. During
that time, she served as Treasurer, Vice
President and Interim President. Prior to
serving in her current position, Betsy was the
National Vice President of Collegiate Affairs
(2002-2004), National Vice President of
Expansion (2001-2002) and Southern Regional
Director (2000-2001). She is the recipient of
the Phi Chi Theta Alumni Hall of Fame Award
(2008). Betsy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Economics/Finance (1998) and also received her MBA in 2003. She has been employed with First Horizon National Corporation (NYSE: FHN) for 10 years. Three years ago, she took on the role of Manager of Continuing Credit Education for First Horizon National Corporation. Prior to that, she was a Commercial Relationship Manager for over five years in the Knoxville market. Betsy is involved with the Junior League of Memphis, Risk Management Association, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority Alumni Association, and the University of Tennessee Alumni Association Women’s Council. She serves as the chair of the Memphis Area Alpha Delta Pi Golf Tournament Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House and is on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Bankers Association- Southeastern School of Commercial Lending. In her free time, Betsy enjoys traveling and has recently been to Spain, the Greek Islands, New York City, Phoenix, and Charleston. |
