MEMBERSHIP
Membership in Phi Chi Theta starts as a collegiate member who either founds a new chapter and is initiated as a founder or accepts a bid to pledge an existing chapter. Pledges must major or minor in a business or business adjacent course of study. Pledging lasts a minimum of four weeks. Once a pledge becomes an initiated member, they are a Phi Chi Theta member for life.
Once an initiated member graduates, they are considered part of our alumni. Though alumni are considered members for life, there is a separate "Life Membership" that final year collegiates or alumni may apply for that designates special benefits.
Phi Chi Theta chapters are also allowed to designate honorary memberships to be bestowed upon individuals in the community that have made an impact on the chapter, business community or business education. Each biennium the National Chapter selects an individual who exemplifies the pillars and values of Phi Chi Theta to become a National Honorary Member.
